And I don't curse!!!!

I have, literally, spent at least 40 hours this weekend trying to get my computer & Internet working right. Actually I have been working in the 'dark' because I have absolutely ZERO technical knowledge.

I lost count of the number of e-mail exchanges I have made with Juno, not to forget that I followed a 32 page print out uninstalling, reinstalling, sending info they wanted and here I am with the same problems with a few additional ones like being unable to post sharp, clear pictures, to use 'check spelling' on my blogs and, adding insult to injury, it took me over 2 hours to download AVG only to reach the end and get a messge that it couldn't run because--and that's another problem as what the messages say is all Greek to me!!!

In any case, whether it will help or not, I downloaded PeoplePC as my ISP for a 30 day free trial--I don't know if that will help any but I figure it really can't hurt much more.

I know it would probably wipe out everything I have stored but I am so tempted to just reinstall my original set-up with my Compaq disk that came with machine when I bought it--but, for now, I am putting that on hold.

And to think my best friend Chuck got me started on computers--I will ahve to come up with something really evil to get even with him!!! LOL

You will be fine.Things looks good now I see.Someone should teach you how to back up on your files, this can save you time.I have never done it for no need to.But for you all the writing that you have done, would not hurt to back it up.

Oh, no. I knew that you were having a little bit of difficulty, but did not realize how bad it was.
Just remember, what doesn't break you, makes you stronger!

That can't be YOU cursing like that! [BLUSH] It must be the CURSOR that cursed! [LOL] I'm just trying to make funny for a moment because I know you must be so frustrated and downright angry right now! I know the feeling and was without a computer for months one time because of STUPID problems. I'd still be offline if it wasn't for Edie because I can only figure out things so far and then I reach a dead end and give up. You've done just about everything I can think of and would suggest...probably even more! So I don't know what else to tell you. [SAD] Maybe the new one you're trying will work well enough that you can stick with it? Or, while it's working, you can continue to try to figure out Juno or find another one? I dunno, Martin, sorry. [SAD] I have a computer geek friend visiting in RI from AZ until the end of the week and we're supposed to be getting together before he leaves, would you like me to ask him about your problem? Maybe while we're sitting over coffee he could call you on his cell! Let me know, but you'll have to send me your phone number if the answer is yes. Hang in there! It will all get figured out eventually! [HEART]

Hey, don't use AVG. It can't detect lot of mal, virus and spyware. At my office, we have 8 pc in one office room. I install Avast to two pcs and other of my friends install avg. What I like to say is, avg keep virus safely in pc. We can check it by put a thumb drive for a second to avg pc and pull it then insert at avast pc.
visit and install for free at www.avast.com, free daily update and free registration key for a year. (Can resume if expire)
My personal pc doesn't use AV bcoz I use linux. [THUMBUP][THUMBUP][THUMBUP]
