Woke up early--10:45 AM instead of 11 AM--fed the birds--leisurely read the paper--did, and finished, the crossword puzzle--went to my doctor for my flu shot and my PT count--conveniently there is a great deli next door to his office and after weighing in this morning and seeing it was 182.75 (and I wasn't even trying to lose weight--those are the best weight losses!) I treated myself to an overstuffed breast of turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion and brown mustard and while sour pickle--don't remember the last time I had the letter due to watching my sodium intake--went to the library and got 3 books.
The sun is shining, the humidity is low and the sky if filled with puffs of white cotton candy. Went to the pool for an hour, had a good swim--came back to my place and gave the birds their 5 o'clock treat--today romaine lettuce leaves--they love them.
Now catching up on e-mail and subscribed blogs--post a few blogs--read a magazine and get ready to become a couch potato from 7:30-11:30 (while reading a book during commercials) make and eat dinner--tonight's TV schedule: Jeopardy, Prison Break, Heros, Weeds, Californication and then the news.
It is rough being retired--NOT! :O)
Gino is retiring this Friday and he will learn what I have been raving about.
I am seriously thinking of breeding my 2 budgies--Butch is now 6 years old and Spitfire is 4--have never done it before (no, not that! I'm talking about my breeding them) so I might talk to Jill about it.
Hope you are having a good day--even you working stiffs!!!
