Getting Ready for the Cold

January 2, 2008 / by greatmartin

39 degrees tonight for those on the coast--inland they expect freezing temperatures.

My favorite winter shirt--and I'm even wearing shoes AND socks (the latter especially for Donna!!!)--notice anything different about me??  HINT:  it has to do with the face.

In case you can't read it the shirt says, "Give me some chocolate and nobody gets hurt!

Yes, Donna, they go over the calves--BUT I don't wear them with shorts!  LOL

You don't wear them with sandals, either, I hope! [LOL] So, the glasses? I'm not used to seeing those. Very nice. [SMILE] Hey, your freezing temps have made weather stories on our local news programs as well as on national news. I told you it wouldn't be long before we didn't want it here and would send it temporarily down your way again. I feel bad for the crops, though, those poor strawberries and oranges and things don't like the freezing cold! Stay warm, Martin, and hopefully it will pass quickly.[SMILE]

Strange but it will only hurt the 'healthy' foods!!!
I only wear those socks when I wear long pants--maybe 2-3 times a year.
Suppose to be back in the 70s by Friday.[THUMBUP]
