Greatmartin--the U. S. Marine

October 19, 2006 / by greatmartin

1954-1956 Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, Laguna Beach, California, Korea and Japan
I lost 50 pounds to be eligible to enlist--so where in their infinite wisdom do they assign me? Right--kitchen duty! (At least I learned how to cook.) After I got out the weight started to go up again.

Let's see--you have put down women, Mexicans, Chinese, gays, just to name a few--oh, that's right--anyone who doesn't look like you, think like you, act like you, agree with you, has to be put down, demeaned--I'm in good company--ummmm--you haven't picked on Jews yet and I am one.
Thanks so much for reading my blog--now I don't have to go to yours for my daily laughs![THUMBUP]

I find it very hypocritical when people say "God bless you" in one sentence, and then something hateful and/or derogatory in the next one. Especially when you use insults like "Fairy" which have no basis in reality since obviously Martin was a Marine and is quite confident of his masculinity. I highly doubt God enjoys His followers to use insulting/degrading terms toward His other children, even as little as I know God.

I respect you as my elder, Joe, and I like some of your jokes when they don't involve insulting other people. I also respect Christianity. But I don't like the way you feel you can just come to other people's blogs, their home spaces, and tell them they're going to hell or insult them. For one I am sick of people doing that on mine.

Joe, I think if you really cared about the well being of those you feel are on the wrong path... you would show this by simply praying about them privately and expressing your opinions about it compassionately on your blog. However when you say first that you are praying for someone, and then use an insult in the next sentence... that's just hypocritical and self-righteous. I don't even know how in good conscience, you can call that praying. [HEART]

    btw I'm a Jew too although I'm Christ-friendly! [COOL]

and martin, don't spazz because I said "if they're on the wrong path"... I'm just saying that if JOE thinks that, he should pray, and leave the judging bit up to GOD. [WINK]

joez doesn't think--he just judges--so far he has said or inferred that I am a fag, a faggot, fairy, etc--(I was going to give him a few more to toss at me but I'm sure he knows them and will) and tries to cover it up with God--I just take it where it is coming from--an uneducated bigoted guy who talks God but doesn't follow His ways and/or teaching--besides his 'tirades', especially when he has posted someone's column are very funny!
PS Don't worry about me 'spazzing'--don't have time for it![THUMBUP]

[SMILE][BLUSH][OHMY] The only reason I said anything about "martin" like that is because , "he" came on my blog and told everyone who reads my blog ,,, THAT HE IS GAY,, so "he" came out ,, I did not start anything! Thank You very much [SAD][SAD][SAD]
