Thought for the day: I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process...It may not be true, but who wants to take the chance?!

I think most people have some favorite clothes that should have been thrown out years ago whether it is a pair of jeans, comfortable old shoes, a ratty robe, whatever. Today I am saying goodbye to an old friend--my red and black shirt. If I am not mistaken I have had it since at least 1984. It has seen me through my 'fat' days--it covered a multitude of sins and when I was thin it made me feel thinner--I wore it on 'cooler' days, like today when our high was 'only' 70 degrees--it matched my red convertible--looked great with black trousers, socks and shoes--I felt comfortable and knew I looked HOT when I wore it (no matter what shape my body was in LOL) or at least I felt HOT!
I decided today to wear it and when I put it on I noticed: a few bleach spots on the bottom in the front, a cigarette hole under the pocket, deodorant stains on the armpits, etc. All in all I didn't feel HOT wearing it!
I knew it was time to throw it out so I wore it for the last time today--tomorrow it goes into the garbage--GOODBYE OLD FRIEND!

The worst though are the old, fat men, usually French Canadians, who wear Speedos on the beach and look naked because their stomachs cover the bathing suit! UHG![THUMBDOWN]
