May not be blogging/commenting tomorrow

As I mentioned last week FPL is coming to replace the transformer(s) and all we know is that the electricity will be turned off at 8:30 AM--have no idea what time they will be finished BUT I have an idea it may last until Friday which means I will be in blogger hell!!!

As far as I know I have not missed posting at least one blog every day since I started in January 2006 and I answer all e-mail, try to comment on most blogs and/or answer comments left on my blogs. I get an average of 50 'notifications' in my e-mail box every day so I have an idea I will be playing 'catch up' for a few days. :O)

Of course tonight I will put the a/c as low as I can, put bottles of water in the freezer and disconnect everything just before I put the lights out. Almost like preparing for a hurricane, including making sure I have something to eat tomorrow for supper.

I had to look for an old travel clock I had as all my clocks (including the one on the computer) run on electricity!!!

Meanwhile I got some good news and a really nice gesture--Allen and John are going to Mexico for a week's vacation--they were originally going the week of the 19th but Allen insisted that they change it to the 30th to be sure he could take me to the hospital and home the next day and that I can 'function'.

As a rule I take him to the airport and then have his car while he is gone and then pick him up when he arrives back. He wanted to make sure that I would be able to use the car--though with gas prices don't know how much I will be driving it!!!

As Bette Midler says, "You Gotta Have Friends" and I am so gratful that I do!!

Hopefully I'll be back on the Internet tomorrow night--if not talk to you Friday!
