My Favorite Painting by Pavel Tchelitchew
(Wish this was a sharper image--the colors are very vivid--it is a huge painting and hangs in the Museum Of Modern Art in NYC,)

OK, I give in, What is it? Algae in a hot spring?
Mouldy oranges? crinkled patchwork quilt?
Embryos and babies and the tree of life--there are, literally, hundreds of figures in the painting--really has to be seen in person or a large reproduction.
It is really nice looking. I like it.
Go, BUGG!

It really does look interesting, but it is uncertain what the image really is. I know it's distorted, but I might be able to visualize it a little better if you described the image a little to help "clear it up" a bit. I can see faces and hands, but I need a little help. (Don't blame me, maybe my new glasses aren't working so good!)
See my answer to bygirp--Peter--I fell in love with this painting when I first saw it--spent hours and hours just sitting and studying it the museum--also bought it poster size and it moved with me for over 40 years until it 'wore' out.
Oh, I'm so glad you did describe it because it does help to "see" it. I wonder if I can find a pic of it on the web somewhere...I'm going to go do some googling. It sounds fascinating.
I found it! Yeah, it is definitely a fascinating painting, very complex and a lot of separate images to "pick" out of it.
I too googled it. One can let it take the imagination almost anywhere. Do you suppose Paulie and the boys could help us out on this? We could have a "very private auction" to raise money for Buggs. With her being shut out of the debates, we need to generate money fast to help with the write-in campaign.
Who is Buggs?
no sure what your up to,but this is not for me.
Too heavy, maybe Buggs will liked it.
This scares me and excites me at the same time -- Makes for great art!
At first I thought it was something under the water...I guess I'll have to google it to see what your talking about..*grins*
