A Very Rough Night Ahead for Me!!!!

September 15, 2007 / by greatmartin

It is 6 PM and I have already eaten ALL the allotment of food for the day!! I am panicking!! I, usually, space out my food so that the last bite I eat is about an hour before I go to bed.

Those of you who know my 'fat history' or have read my 9 part blog series are aware that I am 'hungry' 24/7--not physically but mentally and can, as a rule, control it but for one reason or another this has been a bad day. I've done a hundred things so far to get my mind off food and I very seldom have days like today but it is here.

Going to sleep right now is not an option as I would wake up in a few hours and eat everything is site!!!

The only solutions I can come up with are either go ahead and blow the diet tonight or do the 'rabbit' thing! I have about 3 heads of lettuce plus 2 bogs of chopped assorted greens and 4 heads of Romaine lettuce.

I could smoke 2-3 packs of cigarettes or drink bottles and bottles of diet soda but I know neither will fill me up--I NEED/WANT food.

Oh, I'll make it through the evening BUT that slice of cake candle that Terry and Chuck sent me is looking awfully good! LOL

Do you think 'going bald' has something to do with it?????

Im having the same problems, ive been on a diet for a while now and I found that if I get a food craving I settle for a cuppa soup, the packet type. If you look around the shops you'll see that some are very low in calories low as much as 47. I find them satisfying enough to see me through the night. Maybe this could help you too. Especially if you wake in the middle of the night, It's a great safety net, stops you picking at other things[THUMBUP][HEART][HEART]

Good idea but it won't work for me--I can do better NOT eating then I can eating one thing and stopping--also they may be low in calories (like as if I would have just one) but they are way too high in sodium!

How do I open a box of saltines and not eat the whole box?? A CUP of soup?? You have to be kidding!! IF I open a jar of peanut butter it is gone!! I don't practice moderation--I'm just going to sit here at teh computer and post tons of blogs!!!![LOL]
Msybr stretched out on the sofa and watching "Hollywoodland" with Ben Afflick (no, not on the couch with him--he's in the movie![LOL]) on HBO will keep me away from the kitchen!!
