I drove to the dealer to see about getting the window fixed on Allen's car as I really don't want his car, especially the driver's seat or me, getting soaked until he gets back. I really got lucky because just as I drove into the dealers the sky opened up and I avoided getting the car or me wet!
Also got lucky after I explained to him that all I really needed was to get the window up--that I couldn't afford to lay out the $600 to get a new window motor put in--within a half hour the window was up and he sent me on my way with a warning not to slam the door!!! :O)
I've been in the following conversation with a few friends and they don't seem to understand--I don't mind (well, I do) being a patient in a hospital but I really don't like visiting people or people visiting me under those circumstances--also that I wish they wouldn't call as I will probably be out of it and they should wait until I call them. Of course I told them they are free to drop of chocolates, carrot cake, etc. if they really want me to recover!! LOL
Some people have asked for the hospital's address--Broward General Medical Center 1600 S. Andrews Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 I should only be there for 5-6 days and then, I hope, I'll be transferred to St. Anthony's--don't know how long I'll be there.
One of my friends--and they never cease to amaze me--has come up with an alternative to taking care of the birds--will be talking to her about it this weekend and will post about it if it works out.
I wrote a lot more in this blog but I decided that it was a different blog so I will copy it and post it in another blog--it will give them a chance to rant, rave, threaten, call me names, try (try means failure) to put me down, go running to the owner, etc. Well they say I am a trouble maker so I might as well be!!! LOL
