The energy just isn't there

August 6, 2008 / by greatmartin

The day started off great and then by 4 PM I felt like this

deflated balloon!!!

Got up at 10:30 AM--read the paper--drank my decaffinated green tea and had two cinnamon raisin buns--worked the crossword puzzle and Jumble, read and answered my e-mail--walked down to the office and came back to my apartment.

Allen came by at 1 PM--we went to back--I went to CVS and then 7/11 to buy my winning lotto tickets (HA!)--then to diagonostic center to pick up the film for the urologist tomorrow--oh, how I hope he says the Foley bag can go!!!!--then we went to Shooters, a restaurant on the Intercoastal near the beach--even with a 'buy one, get one free' coupon it cost us $13 each for lunch.

After that we stopped at Target's to look at some TVs and then went on to Winn Dixie to do my food shopping--about half way through it was as if someone stuck a pin in me and all the air in my body escaped !!

I came home and immediately went to bed for about an hour.

Don't know when I will have the energy to answer e-mails, start subscribing to blogs again, read and comment on blogs--right now the energy isn't there. I really do miss reading what is going on in your life (lives) and adding my 2 cents!!  LOL

Take it easy there Bud.  Sounds like you may have done too much too soon.  I can't believe they sent you home with a foley cath.  Well don't worry yourself with getting caught up with trivial matters just get well.

PS: You might want to tell Allen to trade in that gas guzzler. Who drives a full size Buick these days?

Take it easy, it will take time to get your energy level back up, but if you don't push yourself, you can gradually get yourself back there...
