The government isn't that stupid or is it????

If this is true you 'youngsters' will really see a revolution!!



The rumors have been flying all day that the government has decided that people who are getting social security will not be getting the $300 tax stimulus. It seems, so 'they' say, that it is costing the government too much money and will hinder the economy stimulus that Congress passed and the president signed into law.

Folks, most of these seniors are from the 60s and 70s--they did the marches, the sit-ins, the protests, etc.,--you don't fool around with this group!!!

Just as a PS--I called the social security office and after a half hour waiting to talk to a human being she said there is no fact to the rumor--that there has been a delay to getting out the direct deposit checks and that the other checks will arrive by mid-July.
