What if I die Monday, May 19th???

April 30, 2008 / by greatmartin

Don't get excited--I don't expect to--some one here has to pick on you and keep you in line!!!

Okay, I know we can all die at any minute but I am going to a hospital to be operated on and we know that raises the odds tremendously!! :O)

All I can think of is what if I die without having had a piece of carrot cake? Everyone is entitled to a last meal and if I am going to go I want to sit down BEFORE the 19th and have a scotch on the rocks (haven't had a drink in 27 years--one would probably kill or at least get me smashed so I wouldn't enjoy the meal) followed by escargot in the shell in garlic, a made by the table side Caesar salad, a king size, bone in, cut of prime ribs, Yorkshire pudding, baked potato and every dessert on the menu!!! But then I want an antipasto, salad with dry crumbled blue cheese on top, linguine with white clam sauce, salti-em-boca, a glass of La Chrima Christi, garlic roles and zuppi en glasia, expresso with a glass of fiora di alpi.

I really should go out and buy that new tower so I could use it for the next 2 weeks and 5 days.

I am suppose to get my 'stimulus' check on May 9th--if I am going to die 10 days after that I better spend getting my birds first class everything (not that they don't have it now but you can always better it all) and getting that flat, hang on the wall TV--oh I am sure my heirs would rather get the money but, too bad!!!! :O)

Wait a minute!! What if I don't die or have a stroke (when I am put under) or they don't leave a surgical tool in my body??? I'll just wind up FAT AND BROKER than I have been!!

I am going to have to rethink the next 18 days!!!

So sorry to hear you will be going into the hospital for an operation.  I know you are going to be fine!

LOL, you have a great sense of humor, I can appreciate that. Well we all need to perhaps live as if we were going to die tomorrow. WHAT a different world that would be?

But then people might just be worst instead of better.

OK change that. what if we lived forever, how would that change society?

I'd be scared to eat all those foods you wanted, stretch that out and have some every day, not all at once!

    Enjoy it all.

I'll be reading your post on May 21-?....

My luck--I'll eat all that food and live FATTER!!!

Trick I've found is not to eat  carb's after 3 P.M. so Munch at Brunch and you will still have that slim healthy body!

Makes no difference what you eat when--it is all in the total amount of calories you take within a 24 hour period.

I've been under more times than I can count....always made it back in fine shape.  I know you will too.  Sorry you have to have surgery, but every surgery I have had made me healthier.  One even saved my life!!

Before bedtime there is more of a chance to burn off calories...thus 3:00 PM, rather than latter and close to bedtime.

You are talking for YOUR day--my day starts at 12 noon so MY schedule is different than yours BUT once again--within a 24 hour period you will eat X amount of calories and use up X amount of calories so it doesn't matter when you eat what--I've been in thi9s business for over 40 years and I know what I am talking about.

LOL...yes my day starts at 5:ish AM, so by none-3:00 I'm hungry and I like brunch. Then in bed by 8-9PM

SO OK...if it works for your body great. All I know is my body/metabolism...with the no after 3, in 2 yrs I slowly lost 40 lbs. with no exercise..or the other stuff one's supposed to do to lose weight.

I've been dealing with weight issues all my life and this seems to be the best for me.

Good luck and have a grand day!
