Where I stand with the new blogster by greatmartin on Blogster

It's a flip of the coin as to whether my firefox connection will work or when it will just disconnect--when it is connected I can do everything when it's not I am unable to leave comments and/or replies.

For whatever reason if I shut down my computer and reboot a few times I can usually just blog away but in other cases it's an iffy thing.

As most of you know if I'm not THE dummy of the Internet I am pretty close but I keep on experimenting. Today, for some reason, unable to post a blog I clicked on the HTML icon--I have heard of it but have no idea what it means or what it does but I was able to type in the box and post a blog that way. Still unable to put in comments and/or answer replies BUT, and this is imprtant to me, I CAN READ YOUR BLOGS!!! (Where is the 'thumbs up' icon when you need it?!?!)

While everything is working I want to go weed out my buddy and subscription list as, like some of you, there are many names and faces that are completely foreign to me.

I am just getting around to taking a tour of the new site..and like anything thats new I'll have to get the feel of it to decide whether I like it or not.

Do you have an extra weed.I still cannot reply for comments on my blog.
I do not think that FireFox has anything with his.
You are not the only one on this.

When I am on firefox I have NO problems with comments and/or replies--also see my comment to AJ

I agree with Fredo I don't think it's just you, I'm having the same problem...can't reply on my blog to anyone. So I think those little computer bugs are still munching away somewhere..LOL

Martin, you are definitely better at the computer thing than you realize. You would be so surprised at the level of saavy I get to see at the library. You should be proud of your abilities!

For some reason I have not been having ANY problems today--everything is working and firefox hasn't cut out in the 3 hours I've been on--the computer gods must be looking down on me!

I can't reply to comments.
There is no way to view visitors.
The friends list is bizarre.
The emoticons suck.
All in all, I think they should put the old Blogster back. But, that's just me.

I don't like the new setup for friends (have to stop calling it a buddy list)---also, without adding all the blogs up in the categories you have no idea how many blogs you have posted

I've been struggling with the reply part of things. That's been my biggest gripe. elfie may have shed some light on it, though. I am not using firefox, which seems to be a better secret for getting the reply thing to work. According to Jonathan, the bugs in IE and other bugs are still being ironed out, so I'll just give it some time. In the meantime, please do not think I have suddenly become rude if you don't see any replies to your comments. I hope everybody realizes that my silence is not by choice.
